„“It is not only for what we do that we are held responsible, but also for what we do not do.“

Molière

18.-20.09.2025| Eisenstadt | Private Pädagogische Hochschule Burgenland

At the Private University of Teacher Education Burgenland, both teachers and students are starting the new semester with a focus on present-day global crises. In the World Climate Game, they step into the role of international decision-makers. Whether acting as head of states, representatives of independent international organizations, or as concerned civilians, they are faced with urgent challenges such as forest fires, floods, species extinction, and food insecurities. In this immersive experience, they gain a tangible sense of urgency—what it means when time is running out.

Through collaboration, participants come to the realization that the ambitious goal of net zero is indeed achievable. Equipped with renewed hope and confidence, they embark on the new school year ahead.
